PS4 Cake

A cake for a gamer!  

Farah, was one of the regular customer of RitzariKitchen.com asked me if I wanted to take the challenge.  Absolutely the answer was YES!!!  This cake was for her husband celebrating 30th birthday.  She wanted it to be something special.

I did some studied and research from the internet.  I was thinking that the PS4 Controller will not be totally fondant, inside outside, but something that be eaten with a delicious taste.  I came ac-crossed  a video on YouTube "How to make an edible XBOX 360 Controller" by BellaCakes and Connections.  The controller was made out from Rice Krispies and marshmallows.  I decided to try it and the taste was really, really AWESOME.

This was how the PS4 Controller looked like before the decoration.  It can be hold. 

And this is the DVD (before the make-up done)

After left it for overnight, I covered the controller made from Rice Krispies  with black fondant.  The PS4 logo was made from edible image. 

Same goes with the DVD.  Covered up with black fondant and the DVD cover was made from edible image.

 TAAA DAAA...!!!!

It's done.  :)
