Thanks, Maz for your order. :)

Feedback from Mazlina as written in her email to me.
Just to let you know, the cupcakes were a big hit! Everybody had good things to say about it, and when I first saw it, it was adorable :) the decor was spot on, and the choc cupcake was delicious. Even my mum said it was good, and she's not a fan of sweet things.

This was my first time ordering cupcakes, so it was a good experience for me. It was good luck I found you, because I was just googling for cupcake makers around Nilai :)

Words from my customers always encourage me to go forward. :)

Chocolate Marble Cheese Cake

This is my family favorite cake.  Even my mum loves it.  Chocolate Marble Cheese Cake. We prefer it without any topping. No buttercream, no cheese cream and no fresh cream on top of it.  Just the cake itself.  But for this Hari Raya, I've applied cheese cream topping on top of it.  It was absolutely a HIT!!

This Chocolate Marble Cheese Cake is suitable for those who likes to eat cake and at the same time loves cheese, yet not too cheesy.

I've got the recipe from Tiffinbiru.com (Dapur Tanpa Sempadan).  For those who loved cooking and baking, please do visit Dapur Tanpa Sempadan.  Lots and lots of recipes being tested there.

And for those who would like to bake for yourself, here is the recipe (cut and paste from TiffinBiru.com.  Cik MatGebu, thanks for the lovely recipe.

Ingredient A:-
180 gm butter
170 gm castor sugar
3 large egg (weight about: 60 gm/egg)
20 gm coco powder*
120 gm cake flour*
1 tea spoon of baking powder*(*shift together in a mixing bowl)

Ingredient B:-
250 gm cream cheese (room temperature)
60 gm castor sugar
1 tea spoon vanilla
1 large egg

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees C and place rack in center of oven.  Butter 8 x 8 x 3 inch square cake pan and line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.  Set aside.
  2. In bowl of your hand mixer, beat the butter and castor sugar till white.  Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addiction till ingredients become light and fluffy.
  3. Slow down the mixer and add in sieved ingredients little by little.  Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  4. In another clean, dry mixing bowl, add in cream cheese, vanila and sugar.  Mix it well.  Add in egg and mix again till ingredient become creamy.
  5. Pour half of the chocolate mixture into the pan and align it. Then pour in the cream cheese mixture on top of the chocolate mixture and align it again.  Lastly, pour the balance of the chocolate mixture and align it.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 - 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean.  Cool the cake on a wire rack before cutting.
And for those who wanted to order Chocolate Marble Cheese Cake from me, drop me an email at rose@ritzarikitchen.com or ritzaribakery@gmail.com.  You can request the topping with buttercream or cream cheese or fondant.  :)

How to Stay Focus?

I'm not giving tips about how to stay focus.  But I'm asking my viewers, my visitors, my friends how can we stay focus doing one thing.  I found it hard to stay focus when updating my blogs. While typing this, I remember that I need to do something, here and there.

It's different when baking and decorating a cake.  That I really stay focus. :).

I salute those bloggers that have the time, can do things continuously from one thing to another.  They are able to update their blog every day no matter how busy they are.  I wish I can do that.

Anyone wanted to share with me your tips or own way to stay focus?  Feel free to drop your comment, suggestion or your thoughts.......... :)
