Up, Up and Away!

Imran is 2 years old this year.  Last year, when he was 1 year old, Wani (Imran's mother) requested for Elmo Cake.  But now, Imran had his own choice of the design for his birthday cake. He was requesting for an aeroplane cake.  As it was a last minute order, Wani asked me to bake and decorated the cake with an aeroplane on the cake.  Wani even gave me few cake pictures for my guidelines.  And here was the outcome.......

Red Velvet Cake

Layla, from Layla Islamic Fashion (LAYIFA) one of my return customers ordered Red Velvet Cake for her 'kenduri kesyukuran'  for her housewarming.  She also ordered 2 Hearts Homemade Chocolate as the doorgift for her guests.

About 2 weeks before her housewarming, Layla ordered Classic Baked Cheesecake for her 2nd daughter, Wafiqa.  Wafiqa was 1 years old.

Our Cheezy Cake Menu

For those who had been following us on our FB page, RitzariKitchen.com will be going cheesy this year and here is our cheesy cake menu.

For a start, we will be offering
1) Classic Baked CheeseCake

 Classic baked Cheesecake before decoration

Weight more than 1.7 kg.

Whole cake was covered with fresh cream, topping on top with blueberry filling and edible image.

2) Infamous Marbled CheeseCake

4) Oreo Yoghurt CheeseCake

I baked this for the children for makan-makan.  

The taste was a bit sour because of the yoghurt.  

Suggestion to eat, take it with freshcream.

While for the cupcakes, we are offering

Tools Cake

Order received from Ain for her father's birthday. Ain requested tools decoration on the cake as her father loved house tools and gardening stuffs.

Inside cake : Chocolate moist cake (Cake itself weights about 750 gm)

Inside, it was layered with chocolate ganache,
Double topping, covered with chocolate ganache before covering with buttercream.

Spanar, screwdriver, nail and ...... (what do you call that?) :)

Drawing on cake with Ellie Deheart

This is the third time I attended Ellie's class.  The first time I went there, was to learn how to icing a cake with buttercream.  And that time, I managed to accomplished to deco a garden theme cake.  For the second time, I attended her basic fondant wedding cake class.  And for this round, I attended drawing on cake class.

Ellie is a simple person.  She doesn't mind sharing a lot of tips with us on baking and decorating the cake.  For those who interested to learn about baking cupcakes and cake decorating, do drop by at her blog Bake-and-Deco.
