Pavlova

PAVLOVA in the house!!!!!

What is Pavlova? Pavlova is a meringue-based dessert with a crisp crust and soft, light inside. It is decorated with a topping of whipped cream and fresh soft fruit such as kiwifruit, passionfruit, and strawberries.

RitzariKitchen.com is serving the pavlova in 2 sizes. The bigger one is 7 inch and the mini one is 4 inch.

Pavlova pricing:

Single 7" pavlova - RM40 with fresh cream topping and the fruits are kiwi, strawberry, mango or grapes.
Double 7" pavlova - RM80 (topping and fruits are as above)

Single 7" pavlova - RM45 with vanilla custard cream and the fruits are kiwi, strawberry, mango or grapes.
Double 7" pavlova - RM90 (topping and fruits are as above)

Mini 3" pavlova - RM10 with fresh cream topping and the fruits are kiwi, strawberry, mango or grapes.
Mini 3" pavlova - RM13 with vanilla custard cream and the fruits are kiwi, strawberry, mango or grapes.

Apam Polkadot Recipe

For few times upon looking at the google analytic, I saw people were searching for the apam polkadot recipe. So today, I would like to share with my viewers the recipe of apam polkadot. I have shared this before at my FB fan page, RitzDelight. Anyway, this time I posted into my blog. The recipe will be Malay language. I will translate it in English later. :)

Untuk menghasilkan Apam Polkadot yang gebu2 dan comel.

Bahan2nya:-
275 gm tepung gandum (*** diayak sekali)
3 sudu teh baking powder (*** diayak sekali)
220 gm gula halus
150 ml susu segar atau susu cair (Admin guna brand Dutch Lady)
3 biji telur sejuk dari peti ais (Admin guna telur gred A)
1 sudu kecil ovelette
1 sudu esen vanilla
Filling/perasa adalah mengikut citarasa masing (strawberry, blueberry, kaya, kiwi, orange atau chocolate paste)
Pewarna adalah terpulang, janji yang dibenarkan :)

Ovelette
**Nama panggilan lain bagi ovelette adalah quick 75. Ia berwarna oren atau kuning dan teksturnya seperti gel.Ovalette merupakan pengemulsi atau penstabil yang digunakan untuk membuat kek span dan dan kek-kek yang menggunakan telur sebagai bahan untuk melembutkan kek.

Step by step:-
Cara-cara penyediaan apam polkadot

1. Masukkan telur, gula dan ovalette ke dalam mangkuk mixer dan pukul dengan kelajuan maksima sehingga kembang dan menjadi putih.

2. Selepas tu, campurkan bahan2 lain seperti masukkan susu segar, tepung+baking powder (yang telah diayak) dan esen vanilla dan mix lagi dengan kelajuan minimun sehingga sebati.

3. Bahagikan adunan kepada beberapa bahagian,kemudian titiskan pewarna water based mengikut pilihan.

4. Masukkan setiap adunan berwarna ke dalam piping bag.

5. Picitkan adunan ke dalam mangkuk kertas (setengah/separuh sahaja).

6. Letakkan filling secukupnya (nak senang masukkan dalam plastik kemudian picitkan).

7. Picit lagi adunan sama atau warna berbeza sehingga hampir penuh.

8. Last sekali dot-dot kan dengan warna pilihan,kemudian kukus dengan api kecil/sederhana selama 10-15minit atau sehingga masak.

Note: Sebaik2nya, balut tutup pengukus dgn kain, supaya air tidak jatuh masuk ke dalam apam yang sedang dikukus.

Ana Muslim Cake

My 1st order for drawing on cake. The customer requested Ana Muslim drawing instead of edible image. I was a bit nervous since this was the 1st time receiving such order. Let's look at the picture.
